According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2016, the production of industrial enterprises increased 5% compared to October of the previous year. Production increased in manufacturing and the energy sector, but decreased in mining and quarrying.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2017, compared to September of the previous year, the turnover of retail trade enterprises increased 1% at constant prices. For the third month in succession, turnover has shown a stable one-percent growth compared to the same month of the previous year.
According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, in 2012 the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 3.2% compared to the previous year. In the 4th quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter of 2011, the GDP grew by 3.7%.

Compared to 2014, the average monthly and hourly gross wages and salaries increased by 6.0%. The monthly gross wages and salaries were highest in the 4th quarter.
