The production of short-term death statistics was prompted by the 2020 coronavirus crisis. The chart shows the weekly death statistics for 2010–2025. The data for 2010–2024 are final, and the data for 2025 is preliminary data from the population register and will be revised. The chart also shows the ten-year average number of deaths per week. According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2018, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and in foreign countries amounted to three billion euros, which was 18% more than in 2017. Taking into account only Estonian construction market, construction volume increased 21%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2021, life expectancy at birth was 77.2 years in Estonia. Male life expectancy was 72.8 years and female life expectancy was 81.4 years. Life expectancy has decreased for both men and women. Men can expect to live disability-free for 54.9 years and women for 58 years.

According to Statistics Estonia, 1,365,884 people live in Estonia as of 01.01.2023, which is 34,088 persons (2.6%) more than at the same time a year ago.
