According to Statistics Estonia, in October, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 896 million euros. Compared with October 2021, turnover decreased by 4% at constant prices.
The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, fell by 1.3% in September compared with August 2022 and rose by 23.2% compared with September 2021.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2012, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 8% compared to September of the previous year. The growth in the production was most of all influenced by the increase in the manufacturing of electronic products.
According to the data of the 2011 Population and Housing Census (PHC 2011), there were 599,832 households in Estonia. Compared to the previous, 2000 Population Census, the share of households with children younger than 18 years of age has decreased from 33.6% to 25.2%.

According to Statistics Estonia’s population projection, in 2080, there will be approximately 1.2 million people in Estonia. Over the next 60 years, the population of Estonia will decrease by 11%, in the next 25 years, by 35,800 persons, and by 2080, by 145,200 persons.
According to Statistics Estonia, 236,000 domestic and foreign tourists stayed in the accommodation establishments of Estonia in November 2017, i.e. 10% more than in November 2016.

The growth in trade was affected the most by a significant increase in trade in mineral products (fuel additives, shale oil, motor spirit and heavy fuel oils). Mineral products trade increased in both quantity and value, exports tripled and imports doubled.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2017, life expectancy at birth was 73.7 years for males and 82.3 years for females. In the last ten years, male life expectancy has risen by 6 and female life expectancy by 3.5 years. As a result, the difference in male and female life expectancy has decreased.
