Mart Mägi has served as Director General of Statistics Estonia since April 2017. His last day in office will be 7 May. As of 10 May, Mägi will assume the position of Chairman of the Board of AS Eesti Post.

Until Sunday 25 March (inclusive), all those people who have not participated in the census and have not been contacted by an enumerator yet can notify Statistics Estonia and have an enumerator sent to their place of residence. By Friday, more than 1,000 people had notified Statistics Estonia.
