People sleep on average 14 minutes longer, work 18 minutes less and dedicate 40 minutes more to spending leisure time per day than ten years ago, appeared from the Time Use Survey 2010 of Statistics Estonia. The previous survey was conducted in 2000.

According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2008 the production of milk and meat increased and the production of eggs decreased compared to the previous year. Animal production has been relatively stable during the last five years.

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2019, compared to March 2018, the exports of goods increased by 8% and imports by 5%. The trade growth was due to increased exports and imports with the European Union countries.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 189,000 tourists stayed in accommodation establishments of Estonia, which was 16% less than in the same month of previous year. The average cost of a guest night has fallen down to the level of 2003.

According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the production of milk amounted to 721,400 tons in 2012, which is 4% more than a year earlier. The number of dairy cows did not change compared to the previous year, but milk production per cow kept increasing.

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2020, compared to August 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 6% and imports by 4%. The fall was mostly in trade with European Union member states.
