According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2009 the producer price index increased 0.1% compared to September and decreased 2.2% compared to October 2008.

The decrease in retail sales was most influenced by stores selling manufactured goods, where the decrease in sales slightly accelerated compared to the previous months.
