According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2013 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and foreign countries grew 2%, of which 6% on domestic market.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2020, compared to June 2019, the exports of goods remained at the same level and imports decreased by 8%. In the second quarter of 2020, exports decreased by 15% and imports by 18% year on year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in August, the total production of industrial enterprises increased 0.8% at constant prices compared with August 2021. Output rose in two of the three sectors – up 10.2% in electricity production and as much as 121.4% in mining – but fell 3.7% in manufacturing.

According to Statistics Estonia, the total production of industrial enterprises in 2021 was 6.4% bigger than the year before. Of the three main industrial sectors, production increased by 19.2% in energy production and by 6.4% in manufacturing but decreased by 15.7% in mining.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2019, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad decreased by 1% year on year. Similarly to the first half of the year, construction volume increased in foreign countries but decreased in Estonia.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2023, the total production of industrial enterprises decreased by 12.7% at constant prices compared with the corresponding month of 2022. Output declined in two of the three main sectors: by 31.5% in electricity production and by 13.1% in manufacturing. In mining, output increased by 36.3%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2009 compared to August of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 28%. Since February the decrease in production has been within the limits of 30% compared to the same month of the previous year.

Jane Leppmets, foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, pointed out that unlike the balance of foreign trade in goods, the balance of foreign trade in services continues to show a surplus, which means that Estonian economic entities export significantly more services than they import. Economic entities include enterprises and non-profit entities, for instance, non-profit associations and state agencies. “In the second quarter, exports of services exceeded imports by €815 million. According to Statistics Estonia, by flash estimates, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 8.4% in the 2nd quarter of 2011 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
