According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in December 2013 was –0.1% compared to November 2013 and 1.4% compared to December of the previous year.

Anton Kardakov, leading analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that, in 2025, the quantity of commercial fish sold by fish farming enterprises increased by 253 tonnes, or 26%, compared with 2024. “The volume of commercial catch declined in the years 2019–2022 but has been rising again in the last three years,” said Kardakov. The increase in volume had an impact on average price. The average price per kilogram of farmed fish was 5.5 euros – down by nearly 30% from 2024. Rainbow trout is still the most farmed and sold fish species in Estonia, and its quantity continues to increase each year. 1,102

Last year, the quantity of commercial fish sold by fish farming enterprises increased by 45 tonnes compared with 2023. The quantity of farmed fish was in decline in the years 2019–2022 but has been rising again in the last two years. In comparison with May 2024, turnover volume grew by 13% in enterprises engaged in the retail sale of automotive fuel and by 5% in stores selling manufactured goods.
