According to Statistics Estonia, a job competition for the recruitment of 2,200 enumerators for the Population and Housing Census 2011, which will start at the end of this year, is declared open today, on 3 October, at 9:00 a.m.
E-census questionnaires can also be completed at libraries

The online questionnaires of the 2011 Population and Housing Census, which starts on 31 December, can also be completed at public libraries, which have already been supplied with the necessary ID card readers. Residents can participate in the e-census from 31 December until the end of January.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2022, Estonia’s exports of goods increased by 26% and imports by 24% compared with June 2021. Compared with the second quarter of last year, exports grew by 21% and imports by 30%. In June and in the second quarter as a whole, trade was primarily boosted by the increased exports and imports of mineral fuels and electricity and wood and articles of wood.

Jane Leppmets, foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that exports of goods of Estonian origin increased by 6% in November, while re-exports decreased by 2%. “The share of goods of Estonian origin in total exports was up by two percentage points in November, accounting for 66%.
