According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2009 Estonian trade deficit was 1.6 billion kroons. At the same time the trade balance with the five biggest countries of destination was positive (exports exceeded imports).

According to the final results of the 2013 Farm Structure Survey, there were 19,200 agricultural holdings in Estonia, of which nearly 1,000 largest ones produce more than three-quarters of standard output, announces Statistics Estonia. At the same time, there are 4,500 agricultural holdings which do not produce agricultural products but only maintain their lands in good agricultural and environmental condition.

On 27 January, Statistics Estonia’s customer support is available from 08:30 until 12:00. The customer support is closed on 28 January. On 27 and 28 January, sending and receiving email will be disrupted across the entire organisation. There may be disruptions in the use of Statistics Estonia’s research work environment from 27 to 30 January.
