According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2009 Estonian trade deficit was 1.6 billion kroons. At the same time the trade balance with the five biggest countries of destination was positive (exports exceeded imports).
Today, on 17 October, Statistics Estonia and Enterprise Estonia launch the second stage of the Foreign Visitors Survey that started at the border crossing points of Estonia in the summer. The second stage will last until the middle of December.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2010 more than two thirds of households with children considered the condition of their dwelling good or very good. During ten years, the number of such households has increased by a quarter.
According to the final results of the 2013 Farm Structure Survey, there were 19,200 agricultural holdings in Estonia, of which nearly 1,000 largest ones produce more than three-quarters of standard output, announces Statistics Estonia. At the same time, there are 4,500 agricultural holdings which do not produce agricultural products but only maintain their lands in good agricultural and environmental condition.

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2015, exports of goods stayed at the same level and imports decreased by 4% compared to April of the previous year. Foreign trade was influenced the most by a decrease in the exports and imports of agricultural products and food preparations.
According to Statistics Estonia, 131,700 foreign tourists and 77,800 domestic tourists used the services of accommodation establishments in November 2013. The total number of tourists increased 7% compared to November 2012.
According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index was 0.2% in May 2013 compared to April and 3.3% compared to May of the previous year.
Today, on 11 October, Statistics Estonia presents “Success on the Labour Market” – an overview of the average gross monthly income of persons with vocational and higher education and their social status on the labour market.
