According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2013, 80% of households in Estonia had access to the Internet at home. The share of such households has increased five percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year.

What kind of survey is it? The Farm Structure Survey gives an overview of the state of agriculture in Estonia. This information is required for developing agricultural policies. The survey provides statistics on agricultural holdings that are comparable across the European Union (EU). Agriculture produces almost 100% of food, covers around 40% of the EU territory, and takes up about 30% of the EU budget. According to Statistics Estonia, by preliminary estimation the number of population in Estonia on 1 January 2009 was 1,340,300. Due to the increase in the number of births and to the decrease in the number of deaths the decline in population number slowed down last year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2017, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,242 euros, and increased 6.8% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2016. The year-over-year growth in wages and salaries, which had decelerated for four successive quarters, accelerated again and was 1.1 percentage points faster than in the previous quarter.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2011, the unemployed persons numbered 77,000 and the unemployment rate was 10.9%. The unemployment of men decreased more than that of women.
European accommodation establishments have unstable period

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2008 tourists spent over 2.3 billion nights in nearly half million accommodation establishments of the European Union. At the same time, this decade has seen an increase in the terrorist attack risk and the economic crisis of recent years has had a significant influence on people's travel behaviour and on accommodation establishments.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2009 63% of Estonian households had access to the Internet at home, compared to the same period of the previous year this indicator has increased five percentage points. Almost all enterprises with 10 and more persons employed had access to the Internet as in the previous three years.
