According to Statistics Estonia, there were almost 6,600 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 4th quarter of 2015. The number of job vacancies decreased by 25.5% compared to the previous quarter and by 8.4% compared to the 4th quarter of 2014. In 2015, the number of job vacancies was the largest in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2019, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 7.4% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2018. The average hourly gross wages and salaries were 8.22 euros, which is 9% more than in the same quarter of 2018.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 1.6% compared to 2015. In the 4th quarter of 2016, the Estonian economy grew 2.7% compared to the 4th quarter of 2015.

According to Statistics Estonia, 34 full-length films were produced in Estonia in 2018, of which 22 were distributed in cinemas in the same year. Cinema attendance set a new record – 3.6 million visits, i.e. 275 visits per 100 inhabitants.
More tourists staying in accommodation establishments

According to Statistics Estonia, 3.8 million tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in 2019. The total number of nights spent was 7 million. 59% were foreign tourists and 41% were domestic tourists.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2020, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,404 euros, which is 4.8% higher than the year before. In quarterly comparison, the increase is the most modest in recent years.

According to Statistics Estonia, there were more than 6,300 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 4th quarter of 2011 – this is 31% more than in the same period last year. The rate of job vacancies was 1.3%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2019, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad decreased by 1% year on year. Similarly to the first half of the year, construction volume increased in foreign countries but decreased in Estonia.
