According to Statistics Estonia, in June, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 915 million euros. Compared with June 2021, turnover decreased by 1% at constant prices.

Jane Leppmets, foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that the most significant changes in April concerned extra-EU trade. “Exports to EU countries were up by 8% and imports from the EU fell by 1%. In trade with non-EU countries, exports declined by 10% while imports grew by 16%. Year on year, there were decreased exports from Estonia to the United States, Russia and Singapore, and increased imports from Turkey and Switzerland,” explained Leppmets. According to Statistics Estonia, the average gross monthly wages and salaries in the first quarter of 2023 were 1,741 euros, which is 13.3% higher than at the same time last year. The median wages, however, were 1,424 euros. The average real wages in the first quarter of 2023 were 1,443 euros, 3.2% lower than last year.

From today until 22 January 2022, the e-questionnaire for the Population and Housing Census is open. Everyone living in Estonia is welcome to respond to the e-census. Only people who are included in the survey sample may expect a phone call or visit from a census taker if they have not filled in the e-questionnaire.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 886 million euros. Compared with September 2021, turnover decreased by 6% at constant prices.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2023, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad decreased by 12% at constant prices compared with the second quarter of 2022. Considering only the domestic market, the fall in construction volume was 14%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September, the consumer price index remained at the same level as in August 2023 and increased by 4.2% compared with September 2022. Goods were 5.7% and services 1.3% more expensive than in September last year.
