According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 2.2% in the 3rd quarter of 2014 compared to the 3rd quarter of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 839 euros and increased by 5.9% compared to the previous year. The real wages also increased after the two years’ decrease.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2012, the number of unemployed persons decreased to 71,000 and the unemployment rate to 10.2%. The situation of young people on the labour market has not improved this year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2018, domestic and foreign tourists who stayed in accommodation establishments numbered 372,700, or as many as in June last year. The number of domestic tourists increased and the number of foreign tourists decreased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2018, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 3% compared to May 2017. Production increased in manufacturing and in mining, but decreased substantially in energy.
According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2017, domestic and foreign tourists who stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments numbered 192,000, which was 8% more than in January 2016.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2013, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 930 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.58 euros. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2012, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased 8.8% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries increased 7.1%.
