According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2009 compared to October of the previous year the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased 17% at constant prices. Since July the decrease in retail sales has been relatively stable compared to the same month of the previous year.

The winners of the European Statistics Competition for the academic year 2019–2020 were announced yesterday, 7 September. In the younger age group, team Fresiito from Tallinn Secondary School of Science won the third place.

“In the first half of 2025, foreign trade in goods increased by 9%. According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2010 compared to July of the previous year the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased 1% at constant prices. The decrease of the retail sales in July was the smallest of the current year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2021, Estonian accommodation establishments served 381,000 tourists, which is a tenth more than in the same month last year. The number of domestic tourists increased compared to both July 2020 and July 2019, while the number of foreign tourists remained significantly smaller than in previous years.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2021, Estonian accommodation establishments served 216,000 tourists, which is almost a third more than in June last year. There were more domestic tourists and fewer foreign tourists, but the total number of accommodated guests was significantly lower than in 2019 before the coronavirus crisis.
