According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011 the exports of goods from Estonia at current prices totalled 12 billion euros and imports 12.6 billion euros. The annual increase was record big – exports increased by 38% and imports by 37% compared to the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2008, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 12,912 kroons and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 77.52 kroons. 30% of the enterprises whose submission deadline for the comprehensive annual questionnaire for enterprises (EKOMAR) was Friday, 1 July submitted the questionnaire by the deadline. At Wednesday’s meeting with enterprises submitting EKOMAR questionnaires, Statistics Estonia explains the importance of the collected data to enterprises and hopes to improve data collection in cooperation with them.
