According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2018, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,242 euros, having increased by 7.7% compared to the 1st quarter of 2017. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2020, the gross hourly earnings of female employees were 15.6% smaller than the earnings of male employees. The gender pay gap decreased by 1.5 percentage points year on year.
