Since 1996 the Statistical Office conducts reputation surveys and user surveys. The survey is conducted at least once a year, the existing as well as potential consumers are interviewed. The aims of user surveys are: to find out the reputation of the Statistical Office among consumers, to find out the need for statistical information, to study the consumers’ preferences in using various statistical products, to get the necessary information for production development. The results of the surveys are applied for better serving the consumers, as well as in improvement of products. Surveys 2021

10. Reduced Inequalities

The focus of the global goal “Reduced Inequalities” is safe, controlled and regular migration, and increasing the influence of developing countries in making economic and financial decisions. The 2030 Agenda lays down that the incomes of the 40% of population earning the least must grow faster than national averages. Also, all people must be treated equally, irrespective of their age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, economic or other status, while their social, economic and political inclusion must be promoted. Exports of services at a record high in the second quarter

According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the second quarter of 2023, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 8% and imports by 2% at current prices compared with the same quarter of 2022. Sales of services to non-residents totalled 2.9 billion euros and purchases of services from non-residents amounted to 2.2 billion euros.
