Statistics Estonia has revised the entire time series of gross domestic product (GDP) starting from 1995. During the revision, updated basic data sources were incorporated and methodological improvements were made.

Robert Müürsepp, team lead of national accounts at Statistics Estonia, said that the improvement in Estonian economy continued in the first quarter of 2025. “Compared with the first quarter of 2024, the GDP increased by 1.2%. According to Statistics Estonia, in March, the consumer price index increased by 0.4% compared with February 2024 and by 3.9% compared with March 2023. Goods were 1.9% and services 7.1% more expensive than in March last year.
