According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2010, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 12,869 kroons (822 euros) and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 75.81 kroons (4.85 euros). Compared to the 2nd quarter of the previous year, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 1.2% higher and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 1.7% lower.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2012, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 855 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.21 euros. 2017 was a record year in world tourism. More foreign tourists visited Estonia than in any of the previous years. 3.5 million domestic and foreign tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments. There were 7% more tourists in accommodation establishments than a year earlier, including 9% more domestic tourists and 5% more foreign tourists. Of those staying in accommodation establishments, by country of residence, the number of Estonian residents increased the most, and of foreign tourists, more tourists arrived from Russia and Latvia. The total number of domestic and foreign tourists who stayed in accommodation establishments set a new record already for the eighth consecutive year.

According to Statistics Estonia, on the basis of the first estimates of 2010 Agricultural Census the number of agricultural holdings has decreased almost three times as compared to the last, 2001 Agricultural Census. At the same time the agricultural area has increased 8%. It shows that agricultural activity is concentrating more and more into larger holdings.

Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2009, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 0.9% higher and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 0.3% higher.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2011, the production of industrial enterprises grew 6% compared to the same month of the previous year. The slowdown in production was most of all influenced by the manufacturing of electronic products.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2009 compared to May of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 30%. The steep decline in industrial production that had started at the end of the previous year continued in May.
