According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2017, compared to August of the previous year, the turnover of retail trade enterprises increased 1% at constant prices. Similarly to July, turnover showed a stable one-percent growth also in August compared to the same month of the previous year.

What kind of survey is it? The internet use and digital skills survey assesses how and for what purpose people in Estonia use computers and the internet. Who commissions the survey? The internet use and digital skills survey is conducted using the questionnaire and harmonised methodology developed by Eurostat, which ensures comparability of the results for different European Union (EU) countries. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2017, the number of passengers served by Estonian transport enterprises remained at the same level compared to the previous year. Carriage of goods decreased in road transport, but increased in rail transport.
