According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 2.2% in the 3rd quarter of 2014 compared to the 3rd quarter of the previous year.

The number of pigs increased and the number of cattle also increased slightly. Less meat but more milk and eggs were produced than in the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September, exports of goods increased by 30% and imports by 37% year on year. In the third quarter, exports grew by 34% and imports by 35%.
