People sleep on average 14 minutes longer, work 18 minutes less and dedicate 40 minutes more to spending leisure time per day than ten years ago, appeared from the Time Use Survey 2010 of Statistics Estonia. The previous survey was conducted in 2000.

Starting from today, the persons interested in working for the 2011 Population and Housing Census can register on the website of Statistics Estonia, so that they could be contacted when the job competition has been announced. Large-scale recruitment competitions will be announced in autumn.

The number of domestic tourists increased compared to both July 2020 and July 2019, while the number of foreign tourists remained significantly smaller than in previous years.

Output declined in two of the three main sectors: by 29.2% in electricity production and by 12.4% in manufacturing. In mining, output increased by 1.6%.
