In April 2021, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 1.6% compared to March 2021 and by 6.8% compared to April 2020.

According to Statistics Estonia's data, Estonian power plants produced 5,686 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity and 4,323 GWh of heat in 2023. Compared with 2022, electricity production was down by 37% and heat production by 15%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2024, the dwelling price index increased by 6.7% compared with the same period in 2023 and by 2.8% compared with the first quarter of 2024.

Helle Bunder, leading analyst at Statistics Estonia, noted that, in October, the volume of production in manufacturing increased slightly after a long period of decline. “Manufacturing output had fallen for nearly 2.5 years but now grew by 0.8% compared with October 2023,” explained Bunder. Participation in adult education is higher among women, younger age groups, people with higher educational attainment, and native speakers of Estonian. Compared to the 2011 census, 47,793 new dwellings have been built, which is 1000 fewer than in the previous ten years (2001–2011). According to census data, there are now 14% more private houses than 10 years ago and 24% of all dwellings are vacant.
