What kind of survey is it? The internet use and digital skills survey assesses how and for what purpose people in Estonia use computers and the internet. Who commissions the survey? The internet use and digital skills survey is conducted using the questionnaire and harmonised methodology developed by Eurostat, which ensures comparability of the results for different European Union (EU) countries. The survey includes an additional module commissioned by the Ministry of Justice and Digital Affairs. It provides an essential input to the Ministry’s cyber security policies. Read more here (in

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2018, domestic and foreign tourists staying in accommodation establishments numbered 304,000, which is 2% more than in May 2017. The number of both domestic and foreign tourists increased.

According to the preliminary calculations of Statistics Estonia, in 2008 the gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 3.6% compared to the previous year. In the 4th quarter, GDP decreased by 9.7% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
In March, fewer tourists than last year

According to Statistics Estonia, Estonian accommodation establishments served 51,000 tourists in March, which is a decrease of 43% compared to the same month of 2020. The numbers of both foreign and domestic tourists dropped.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2009 compared to September of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 30%. Since February the decrease in production has been within the limits of 30% compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to the first estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia decreased by 16.1% in the 2nd quarter of 2009 compared to the same quarter in the previous year. The GDP decreased successively for six quarters.

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2018, domestic and foreign tourists staying in accommodation establishments numbered 251,000, which is 3% less than in April 2017. The number of foreign tourists decreased, while the number of domestic tourists stayed at the level of the previous year.
