According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, the exports of goods increased by 12% and imports by 10% compared to 2017. The exports and imports of mineral products had the greatest impact on trade growth in 2018.

According to Statistics Estonia, an estimated 80% of the population aged 20–64 participated in adult education in the previous year*. According to Statistics Estonia, 22.8% of Estonia’s population lived at risk of poverty and 1.4% in absolute poverty in 2021. Compared with 2020, the share of people living at risk of poverty rose 2.2% and the share of people living in absolute poverty fell 0.8%.
