According to Statistics Estonia, in 2015, 21.3% of the Estonian population lived in relative poverty and 3.9% in absolute poverty. The overall percentage of people living in relative poverty decreased 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous year, the percentage of people living in absolute poverty decreased 2.4 percentage points.
Weakening material price pressures slowed the rise in the construction price index

According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2022, the construction price index increased by 3.8% compared with the second quarter of 2022 and by 17.4% compared with the third quarter of 2021.
PHC 2011: Number of households with children is decreasing

According to the data of the 2011 Population and Housing Census (PHC 2011), there were 599,832 households in Estonia. Compared to the previous, 2000 Population Census, the share of households with children younger than 18 years of age has decreased from 33.6% to 25.2%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 7% compared to the average of 2018. The prices of apartments increased by 6.9% and the prices of houses by 7.3%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2019, the Dwelling Price Index changed by 8.1% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2018 and by 2.4% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2019.

What kind of survey is it? The crop farming survey provides data about areas under cultivation and harvested areas of agricultural crops, production and yield, fertilisers, organic farming, liming, seed use, and autumn sowings of winter crops. A large part of the data are obtained from registers (for example, data on areas under cultivation are received from the Agricultural Registers and Information Board, and data on harvested areas and production are obtained from the electronic field book in e-ARIB), and the rest are collected from respondents with the survey. General government deficit decreased significantly, the debt level is stable

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2021, the Estonian general government deficit was 2.4% and the debt level was 18% of the gross domestic product (GDP). At the end of last year, the total expenditures of the general government exceeded revenues by 721 million euros.
