Statistics Estonia wishes to make the movement and reporting of data more automatic in order to decrease the data submission burden of enterprises. We have prepared guidelines for those who wish to start using the statistical database API or integrate their software with Reporting 3.0, a project created to decrease administrative burden by making it more convenient to submit data required by the state.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2020, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 18% compared to May 2019. Production decreased in all three industrial activities: manufacturing, energy production and mining.

Hunting can regulate the abundance of animals, preserve the diversity and viability of species. It helps to make game resistant and less susceptible to disease and other threats. This in turn makes it possible to increase the social and economic importance of hunting in rural areas. Hunting statistics are compiled by the Environment Agency, which publishes the following data: game hunting by species and county; damage caused by game. Based on hunting statistics, it is possible to develop and monitor the field of hunting, assess progress towards national targets and conduct research.

The list of economic units is a helpful tool primarily for those respondents who are required to report in statistical questionnaires financial transactions or financial assets and liabilities broken down by customer or type of transaction, e.g. loans granted and deposits taken by credit institutions or lease claims of customers of leasing companies. The list of economic units is published once a year (in December) and includes economic units that have been economically active in at least one of the last three years. An exception is all financial sector units, which are included in the list
