HICP flash estimate: prices up by 0.1% in May
According to the preliminary estimate of Statistics Estonia, in May 2025, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), which includes the expenditures of tourists in Estonia, increased by 0.1% compared with April. Compared with May last year, the index rose by 4.6%.

Starting on 1 May, residents of Estonia will receive invitations to participate in the Estonian Health Interview Survey, which aims to assess the health status of the population, factors influencing it, and the use of health services. Director General of Eurostat is visiting Estonia
On Wednesday, 5th of August, Walter Radermacher, Director General of Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, will be on a one-day visit to Estonia. In June the growth in retail sales accelerated even more
According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2015 compared to June of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises increased 10% at constant prices. Retail sales increased 6% in April and 8% in May compared to the same month of the previous year, whereas in June the retail sales growth accelerated even more.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2015, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 3% compared to June of the previous year. Production decreased in manufacturing and energy production but increased in mining.

According to Statistics Estonia, 268,000 tourists used the services of accommodation establishments in May 2015, which is 2% fewer than in May 2014. The number of foreign tourists decreased and the number of domestic tourists increased.
